Sreeleela has landed one of the biggest films of her career. The actress is part of Superstar Rajinikanth’s upcoming film Dharman, which also stars Ram Pothineni and is produced by Kamal Haasan.
A Special Reveal Coming Tomorrow
The makers have dropped a short teaser video teasing her arrival. The animated clip shows an illustrated look at a woman, with her face partly hidden, along with the line: “Every beautiful story has a moment like this.”
The full reveal is set for tomorrow at 11 AM.
The video carries the Raaj Kamal Films International banner and opens with “Kamal Haasan Presents”.
Paired With Ram?
The big question now is who Sreeleela will be paired with. With the teaser calling it a “beautiful story”, there’s a strong buzz that she could be paired opposite Ram Pothineni.
Sreeleela and Ram already share a connection with Telugu audiences, and fans are excited at the idea of seeing them together in a big Rajinikanth film. The makers are expected to reveal her role tomorrow.
Ram Pothineni vs Rajinikanth
Ram’s role in Dharman is one of the film’s most talked-about elements. He is reportedly playing the antagonist opposite Rajinikanth, and reports suggest the story involves an intense father-in-law versus son-in-law face-off between the two.
This marks Ram’s first film with Rajinikanth, and his first big Tamil project, making Dharman a major film for Telugu audiences too.
A Big Kollywood Entry for Sreeleela
For Sreeleela, this is a huge step. The actress has become one of the busiest heroines in Telugu cinema, and Dharman gives her the chance to be part of a Rajinikanth film for the first time.
The news comes just a day after she was confirmed as the female lead opposite Ajith Kumar in Dare Devil, which had its pooja on November 2. With two big Tamil star films back to back, Sreeleela is making a strong entry into Kollywood.
About Dharman
Dharman, earlier known as Thalaivar 173, is directed by Ashwath Marimuthu, known for Oh My Kadavule and Dragon. Rajinikanth plays a doctor in the film, which was introduced with the tagline “The Deadly Doctor”.
